โ–ถSummary

With GYM4ALL we plan to develop a HEPA training module for children with disabilities based on gymnastics. Five organizations from three different countries will create a training module with a multi sector approach, and in the second year implement a training module in three cities. Through this project five organizations will have the opportunity to collaborate on an international level, and four of them will for the first time participate in Erasmus+ project. With this project we will support the inclusion of a target group with fewer opportunities - children with disabilities. We approached this topic from two aspects: the importance of social inclusion of children with disabilities and the need for physical activity of children. Targeting young people with fewer opportunities has long been a pillar of the European Union's work and this project proposal completely fulfills the priority of the call published in Erasmus+ guidelines: Inclusion and diversity for people with less opportunity. Why gymnastics? Gymnastic is for everyone. Gymnastic is an inclusive sport. That means that with proper guidelines coaches can adapt every activity around your physical, sensory and learning requirements. Almost every gymnastic session can be adapted to include children with a physical or learning disability, sensory impairments or health conditions. Gymnastics can help facilitate movement, promote balance, promote an increase or decrease in muscle tone, promote relaxation, promote sensory integration, and improve fitness and exercise tolerance so very often is used for therapeutic purposes.
