Healthy body, sound mind is a small scale partneship and the age target group is 5-18. The aim of this project is to allow all pupils to enjoy their Right to play and their Right to quality Education, and this aim will be achieved following a well-defined strategy. Connection of WP1 to each S.M.A.R.T. Objective (The specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound objectives) within the 12 months of the proposed program: WP1 Project Management and Coordination): • To map the schools in the consortium’s countries where pupils with VI attend together with sighted ones, aiming at least at 1.000 schools. • To recruit (following certain criteria) 30 young volunteers, from all consortium members for the needs of the project. • To launch an initiative for schools aiming for Sports for All awareness with the use of innovative pilot Educational Package. • To produce & donate, 300 mini blind balls for pupils. Youthorama designed & patented the only mini blind football that exists around the world and will be distributed for free to pupils in need and their schools in order for pupils to enjoy their Right to play and have access to Quality Education • To train, in terms of knowledge, skills & attitude for becoming competent, at least 100 teachers, mentors, young volunteers, professors & students of Physical Education and parents, among others, through these new pilot educational tools who will in turn act as multipliers at national & international level. • To identify 10 good practices on the development of inclusive sport activities. Good practices will be identified from cases where positive attitudes have been succeeded, especially those referred to the cooperative learning and inclusion of pupils with disabilities, no matter their religious/ nationality/ gender/ refugee status etc. Good Practices will be identified via pilot evaluation research following the interventions in the schools. The consortium consists of 2 Sports Clubs.
