โ–ถSummary

Tae-SHS proposal aims to contribute to the existing initiatives for increasing public awareness on the climate change issues, for supporting the sport sector in becoming more sustainable and for incentivising behavioural change among communities on local level and in rural areas towards more sustainable and responsible consumption. This mission will be supplemented with the promotion of healthy lifestyle through physical activity and participation in sport through a Green pass idea. To this end the project envisages the conduct of 4 events - 1 online international workshop with coaches and trainers, 2 local open sport events for more than 300 people; 1 international tournament for around 300 participants. Besides these activities the partnership plans to develop a sustainability policy for the usage of taekwondo clubs in their daily activities, which will foster a sustainable transformation of their activities. The project will result in the delivery of 10 deliverables (reports and events), reaching out to more than 600 people through events and at least 5000 people through dissemination activities performed online and offline. The target groups will encompass people (primarily young) who are practicing taekwondo, coaches, trainers, referees and the general public. The expected intangible results are as follows: - Transformed activities of the participating organisation in becoming more sustainable; - Increased knowledge of the events participants about climate change (driving factors and what can be done by everyone to help reverse this process) - encourage participation in sport and healthy and physically active lifestyle through the Green pass initiative - inspired participants of the events to take personnel actions to fight against climate change - increased knowledge of trainers and coaches engaged in the project activities about climate change and how they can contribute to the behaviour change of their trainees.
