Taiji T.E.A.M. (Taiji Education Awareness Movement)
▶Summary
Our proposal - Taiji T.E.A.M. (Taiji Education Awareness Movement) - focuses on the improvement of the competences and abilities of consortium partners in promoting and teaching Taiji - this traditional body and mind exercise system - as an excellent physical activity supporting health and, in doing so, to also contribute to counter the negative consequences of COVID-19 pandemic. In the scope of this project, the cooperation between the Dantian Foundation (Poland) and AAMYTF (France) will allow both organisations to exchange best practices and specific expertise. In particular, the realisation of this project will: • increase the competences of instructors and advanced students of Dantian Foundation as well as allow this organization to gain additional knowledge of proven methods of establishing and growing national and cross-border cooperation, • increase the AAMYTF's ability and readiness to use the digital technologies to develop online training. The main outputs of the projects are as follows: 1. Two live training and project meetings (one in France, one in Poland), total of 70+ participants (instructors, advanced students, project managers). 2. Creation of a handbook of organisational good practices. 3. Realisation of multimedia e-tutorials (“Daily Health Ritual”). 4. Translation into Polish of a recently published French book on Taiji. 5. Wide dissemination of project results via traditional and social media. The external effect of the project will be to increase participation of the both partners’ target groups, i.e. the people of all ages and levels of fitness without the habit of regular physical activity, in sport and health-promoting physical activities, to disseminate an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle that promotes social cohesion and civic activity, and to increase the availability of physical activities that are inclusive and have a high potential for the use of digital technologies.
