The main goal of the project is to counteract civilization and health problems we have to deal with on a daily basis – such as decline in physical activity of children and adolescents, poor nutrition and environmental protection – using a modern methodological approach to sport activities, many years of experience, research and knowledge of all partners institutions involved in the project. The project responds to the needs identified in the specific priority of the Erasmus+ Sport program which is Encouraging participation in sport and physical activity, promotion of traditional sports and games, and intergenerational integration in sport. The project also responds to the specific objectives set out in the European wide-event category such as promoting sport and physical activity as a health enhancing tool and promoting all measures to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, including traditional sports and games as well as intergenerational sport. By implementing the Project “Athletics Unlimited Games 2022”, the synergy of activities will be also achieved – promotion of Health Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA) and pro-ecological education.
