Summary

The core of the HuntingChange project is the design and development of a game and app, which will offer an integrated approach that combines the physical and digital environment, on the one hand, and sport and education on the other, into an innovative outdoor game which aims to encourage and inspire behavioral change in young people. The purpose of these outputs is to develop different game scenarios which would aim to influence in a positive way and inspire among youth a more physically active and healthier lifestyle, eco-friendly behavior, green believes and zero waste way of thinking. This sport&educational game will be played outdoors with the help of a mobile app which navigates the users and shows a road map for the chosen game scenario, instructions how to play and guidelines how to follow the marked road through the territory. Each participant will have to first discover and then overcome a certain number of obstacles, which will be either in the form of sport activity or climate/environmental challenge, or a mixture between the both of it. The objective is to introduce a fun and interactive approach that can be used by trainers and other youth workers and educators to influence youth’s awareness on the global ecological issues, while also inspiring them to be physically active and by stimulating them to practice sport. Additionally, the project envisages the conduct of: - 1 joint staff training in Bulgaria on the application of the game and app - 2 national sport events for 50 persons (one in Bulgaria, one in Austria) testing the Game - 1 virtual event for trainers in a form of a conference to get to know the results of the project with participants from at least 4 programme countries - Dissemination activities in social media reaching out to at least 2000 people - Conduct of 3 project meetings -Development of 13 deliverables – reports and management documents Target groups – young people, trainers and coaches and other youth workers, general public
