โ–ถSummary

Project main objetive: The project aims to promote and implement the HealthyLifestyle4All initiative by including families from weak social background into kickboxing workshops. Specific objectives: - to increase awareness of a healthy lifestyle and benefits from exercise among socially weak target groups - to increase access to sport and physical activity of families from weak social background In the project we will develop a programme of kickboxing workshops to teach families from vulnerable backgrounds about healthy lifestyles through kickboxing and to practice healthy living. Through the workshops they will strengthen their mental health, physical strength, muscle mass, build better self-confidence and self-image, learn about fundamental rights and values through sport, and become more connected as a family by playing sport together. We will collaborate with local social work centres with whom we have worked in the past and with whom we have established close relationships. These institutions have access to the most vulnerable families and know the appropriate methods to animate these families. To ensure sustainability of the programme at the end of the project all partners will together with local authorities and centres for social work sign a declaration on intent on continue implementation of the programme in all three local areas. In the project we will also organise and implement one international kickboxing tournament in each country with an aim to promote kickboxing as a holistic exercise and raise awareness about healthy lifestyles. We will pay particular attention to the importance of involving vulnerable target groups in different programmes to promote healthy lifestyles. The tournaments will also be intended for coaches to exchange their experiences in the field of promoting kickboxing, not only as a competitive but also as recreational sport that has a great impact on human well-being.
