Summary

The "Sport is for everyone" (SIFE) project seeks a complete and articulated answer to the problems of social exclusion, based on the needs expressed and shared by all project partners. Within the project we will carry out a whole series of initiatives that aim to be the engine of a cooperation between sports branches, with emphasis on the social inclusion of people with disabilities. The sport activities, which have been designed and improved with the contribution of all actors in the field, are supported by experts in science and dissemination, who will present to partners, athletes and society best practices, especially for the inclusion of people with disabilities in sports. The SIFE project targets over 300 people from 10 to 35 YO and 35 Sport Clubs or NGOs involved in sport and social inclusion. The objectives of this project are: - Increase the participation of children and young people in physical activities in order to promote an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle, pursuing social cohesion for people with disabilities. - Developing an international partnership between three organizations that carry out sports activities with people with disabilities through an exchange of good practices that will lead to the diversification of working methods with them. The program includes several activities related to each other in a precise order. In all three partners countries we will conduct training courses in Dancesport, Cyclism and Buccia, joint training of athletes with and without disabilities, international conferences, sessions of analysis and presentation of the results and methods of good practice identified. Through this project we want to create 6 replicable models of sport exercises in the field of all partners who collaborate on the initiative. These models of good practice will be disseminated through international conferences but also through their promotion at European level through the Erasmus Plus portals dedicated to youth and sports.
