Sport activities have potential for social inclusion as it is international, does not require strong language abilities and follows rules that are not difficult to manage. However, the participation in sport (via ferrata) is low, especially of those facing fewer opportunities. Partners work in communities having significant amount of people facing fewer opportunities; there is higher need of involvement of f.o. than capacity of partners. Goal: To encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport through via ferrata activities in 5 countries with focus on people facing economic, cultural and geographical fewer opportunities. Objectives: 1. To increase partners capacity to organize via ferrata events by implementing professional trainings (1 international and 10 at local levels) about safety and emergency situations in via ferrata. 2. To increase number of people facing fewer opportunities (economic, cultural and geographical obstacles) participating in partners organized activities by 50% by organizing 15 via ferrata events. 3. By promoting via ferrata, raising awareness how to do via ferrata in safe manner and how to handle emergency situations, we will attract more people facing fewer opportunities to participate in this sport. By organizing trainings for members of partner organizations we will increase their capacity to organize via ferrata events which leads to higher inclusion of people facing fewer opportunities. By making educational videos we will promote the sport and contribute to overall safety. By organizing 3 sets of ferrata activities in partner countries focusing on each identified fewer opportunity separately we will address the needs of target groups directly and with focus on them which will result in significant increase of people facing fewer opportunities participation iTBA
