โ–ถSummary

The past two years were challenging due to the pandemic of Covid-19. Sport clubs due to the restrictions were losing their athletes in a growing speed from month to month. Reasons of this huge dropout from sport were different: some were not allowed to go outside in definite hours that they previously had used for doing physical activity, since October 2020 doors of sport facilities have been closed for months and in the winter of 2022 they still were limited in the participating countries. Therefore, to keep and motivate members to continue doing physical activity is an urgent issue - a global problem that needs to be solved in cooperation with different countries by sharing experiences on how to overcome the consequences and find ways of doing physical activity in pandemic and restriction situations and organize sport competitions that do not confront the restrictions. Referring to the above mentioned, the project team formed the main objective of the project that states: to ensure organization of sport and physical activity events during restriction periods. Specific goals to achieve the main objective are to: 1) reveal possible sport actions for competing during restriction periods, 2) promote grassroots sport and vocational oriented sport education during restriction periods through the project outputs, 3) share best practices on possibilities to organize sport events during restriction periods, 4) promote healthy lifestyle and inclusion and diversity during restriction periods through the project results and outputs. One of the innovative aspect is to introduce culture of remote sport competitions, which is an innovation for rural districts like Limbazi and Targu Jiu, and Ankara suburbs, and people with fewer opportunities. The 1st value added that the project would bring at EU level shall be the introduction and elaboration of the concept of the remote sport competitions. The 2nd value added will be transferability of the project results to other sectors.
