After successfully having designed and implemented a new model of adapted training for children and young intellectually impaired individuals in the sport of padel, FPCV wants to expand its scope of application and collaborate with GCP, UISP, EISDKH and EsM to develop an innovative cross-sectorial approach intentional for padel trainers in the field of adapted sport. The potential project aims to: โข Design a new toolkit and capacity-building training applicable to diverse target groups within children, while using innovative equipment. โข Provide education and employability opportunities for trainers by improving their abilities in the delivery of adapted padel for young and young intellectually impaired individuals. โข Exchange of good practices between project partners countries specific to padel but not limited to. โข Include essential approaches to training based on gender and intellectual impairments inclusion, mental wellbeing, socialization, digitalization and sustainability. โข Increase the sustainability and impact of the project by catering to general stakeholders that can make use of this toolkit and data to serve as basis for interested parties in adapting padel or other racquet sports to all children.
