BONTS - Building Family Bonds Through Sports

The objectives of the project are designed to increase the participation of all families in sports and games by creating adapted versions of existing sports and games so that both younger and older family members can enjoy them and benefit from them. The objectives are: โข Encourage parents and children to actively engage in sport and be more physically active โข Create a set of adapted sports suitable for all family members regardless of their age or disability โข Organise sport events for families with children โข Create a network of professionals devoted to the projectโs aim after its end by developing more activities and organising more events Target group target group are sport experts, youth workers and educators who will work on the development of project results . Secondary target group are families including the youngest and also the older members as well as families with fewer opportunities. Results and activities: - 180 Sport coaches, youth workers and educators will be trained on local level - 30 Sport coaches, youth workers and educators will participate in international training - At least 12 new and adapted family sport activities from 6 EU countries will be tested by 90 family member - 1350 members of family will be engaged in family sport and spend quality time together - International mobilities - Intergenerational Sports Lab in Serbia and Croatia targeting in total 36 port coaches, youth workers and educators.
