โ–ถSummary

Introducing and Strengthening Healthy Values to Youngsters through Ice Skating (Skate4Health) is a project of partner organizations from Serbia and Slovenia. Both organizations are skating clubs with a long tradition of positively influencing children and developing skating in their respective countries. The main idea behind Skate4Health is to get children involved in sports from early age and raise their awareness about healthy lifestyle. This project is designed to provide children with a motivational environment, engage them in recreational exercise and to educate them on healthy lifestyle. We want to show and teach children and young people that sport, physical activity, and proper nutrition can be fun and become a part of their healthy lifestyle. It is crucial to start with regular physical activity in childhood, therefore we will be targeting children aged 4 to 8 with the goal to: - promote the importance of regular physical activity and positive values of sports, - enable this target group to try ice skating, - encourage children to commit to healthy nutrition. The project dissemination will be done through an online Platform (Skate4Health). Both coaching teams will participate in creating a professional, educational, and engaging content that will be useful not only to ice skaters, but also for other athletes, coaches, parents etc. We aim to widen the scope of influence and to reach as many people and institutions as possible not only on local level, but on regional as well.
