โ–ถSummary

The Project "TTX EU Format, more FUN more LIFE" consists in the creation of a European format shared with 9 European National Federations, to encourage young people to participate in sport and physical activity, promoting table tennis and TTX as a health tool, to increase mental resilience, social inclusion and strengthen the sense of community at national and European level (Specific Objective 1) and lays the foundation for empathy and promotes the values of social inclusion in sport, including gender (Specific Objective 2). The project's predominant target audience is youth ages 11-18 (5.700). Other targets are: coaches (200), PE teachers (200) and 360 volunteers. Particular attention will be paid to the involvement of young people most at special risk of hardship and/or social exclusion (from low-income areas and affected by geographical barriers (isolated from services and support structures). The format will be developed in sharing with all Partner Federations and consists of: > guidelines for the practice and promotion of the new new TTX game format > activities to promote sport within schools (TTX school tournaments) > activities to promote the practice of sports in new contexts and openair (Road Show) > activities to train coaches, teachers and volunteers. The format will culminate in the TTX EU event in Rome in September 2023 (during the European Week of Sport). The organization of the European event will be part of the format and may subsequently be replicated in future similar events in other European countries. A detailed communication plan is also planned to reach a wide audience throughout Europe, mainly composed of young people and their families to amplify the impact of the project. It is intended to create and disseminate a format for a new, innovative, replicable model of participation in sport through TTX that can be used by all partner federations for future sporting events with the same objectives in other EU countries.
