โ–ถSummary

Our project arises from the need that water sports have to protect the marine environment where they develop their sports practice, committing to the care of the ocean, ensuring environmental sustainability. We have selected four water sports (rowing, scuba diving, kayaking and swimming) each implemented by each of our partners, in each of the four countries of our consortium. Through the practice of sports itself, we will carry out the following work plan: 1-Research on those waste products that we will find in the sea and that are harmful to our sports practice and marine environment in general. 2-Sensitization and information with schoolchildren, with the aim of educating, through challenges, related to our sports and microtrainings that educate about the environment. 3-Once the connection between information, awareness and training has been developed, we will design an action plan, connecting everything that we have described above, with each of our sports disciplines, creating a guide to good practices, related to our sports, for the development of water sports events in a manner that respects the environment. 4-To finish, we will put into practice everything we have worked on up to now and for this we will organize four sporting events, in each of the countries, as MEs and in each sport discipline, which will serve to disseminate our materials and evaluate the implementation practice of the guide of good practices for the organization of aquatic sports events, respectful with the environment, reducing the environmental impact. We will invite associations that work with athletes with disabilities to these sporting events to promote their inclusion and make them participate in our aquatic activities, as a source of stimulation. All our associates also work in this field of inclusion, through sport.
