A ball for all unified NPE is an 18 months projects which includes a consortium of 3 countries, Greece - Turkey and Spain. There will be 3 European Local Events and a list of 10 deliverables. The applicant was awarded in 2022 the 1st place at Be Inclusive Sports Awards in the category of "Inspiring Change" for the A ball for all campaign. The legal representative of the applicant was awarded in 2022 the 1st place at Be Active Sports Awards in the category "Local Hero". Not-for profit European Local Event (NPE ELE) “A ball for al unified NPE” is an 18 months’ project between partners from Greece, Turkey and Spain. 3 local events will take place with 1.000 participants in each country, M9 in Spain – M12 in Turkey –. M15 in Greece. It is open to all local events. The participants should consist teams of 2 children, 1 with and the other without Visual Impairment while the one is female and the other male” accompanied by 1 leader. The teams could represent schools, academies, families, friends etc. The teams should be mixed, male and female. All member of each team should be blind or blindfolded during the “2 vs 2 blindfolded penalties shoot-out”. We will use innovative mini blind football, patented by the applicant which is not for sale but only for donation, to organize accessible football events for all. The inclusive material will be used first in Spain, then transferred updated to Turkey and finally overcoming any potential challenges, in Greece. “A ball for all unified NPE” will help do just that. It will allow children with VI aged 5-18 to take part in local unified football events that are designed specifically for them across different European cities. Physical exercise is key in better long-term positive outcomes for those who have undergone a Visual Impairment. With your approval of the current Not-for profit ELE 2024-25, "A ball for all unified NPE " will become a pioneer international initiative of local communities around the world. This is our vision.
