The main aim of the project is to foster cooperation across different regions of the world through joint initiative on the topic of Safeguarding, which includes mutual activities and exchange of practices to further raise the capacity of all partnering organisations, focusing on grassroots sport organisations from Third countries not associated to the Programme from Region 1. The specific objective is to introduce the pioneering concept of a joint international Safeguarding education and training initiative for the purpose of promoting common values, non-discrimination and gender equality through sport by creating and implementing a Safeguarding policy at each federation. The main activities include: - Education and training of Safeguarding Officers, conducted in 6 steps, one in each country; - Creation of 6 Safeguarding Policies, one for each federation, adapted according to the legislation of the respective county and in their own language - Setting up a digital multilingual Safeguarding module to be used by the athletic communities in each country Bulgarian Athletic Federation, as Coordinator, is partnering with the athletic federations of Austria, Poland and the following Third countries not associated to the Programme from Region 1 โ€“ Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo. This consortium aims to launch, test, share and implement new forms of non-formal learning methods and practices on Safeguarding as a tool to promote EU values and prevent different types of abuse and non-equality in sport by educational seminars and workshops. Sustainable results: - Raising the capacity of participating organisations to work in a European dimension through a multilateral partnership promoting innovative practices and common EU values, especially the inclusion of disadvantaged groups- the Paralympic Athletes - Creating and implementing Safeguarding policies in every federation of the consortium - Developing and disseminating a digital multilingual Safeguarding module.
