โถSummary
Being physically active, especially between the ages of 0-21, is considered necessary for muscle growth, ossification, and the functioning of internal organs such as the heart and livers. Non-disabled children meet the need for adequate physical activity by participating in daily play activities to maintain normal growth and development. However, children with disabilities do not do enough physical exercises. However, when compared to the general population, disabled individuals cannot participate in physical activity due to personal and environmental reasons, which brings along some health problems. The elements that we expect our project to contribute to the solution by stepping in at this point are the problems encountered in the psychological, individual, social and environmental fields. To explain in detail how we will contribute to overcoming these problems; Preparation of Training Modules:Raising the awareness of parents, trainers and administrators, who are the direct stakeholders of the project, is among the top priorities. In each event, there will be 30 disabled individuals between the ages of 5-20 and 10 coaches to accompany them. Goalball Event: 2 coaches/technical personnel from all partner countries and 60 visually impaired, 60 non-disabled individuals and 40 technical team from Turkey will attend the "Stop and Listen" event planned to be held in Turkey in July 2024.
