โ–ถSummary

The main objective of this project is to create and promote tools that will enable coaches to develop skills to improve group dynamics and prevent youth sports dropouts. The specific goals are as follows: Educate sports coaches on their role's importance in promoting healthy development among youth. To provide information about adolescence as a crucial developmental stage. To develop practical and theoretical resources for sports associations to promote the physical, psychological, and social benefits of sports for youth. To support multi-sectoral activities encouraging youth participation in sports, including indoor, outdoor, digital, and sustainable actions. The project aims to address the issue of youth sports dropout during adolescence by utilizing a method developed by the sports association ASD SPARTA CALCIO. Various risk factors, including contextual and personal characteristics, influence the renunciation of sports during this stage. Studies have shown that psycho-social discomfort and social isolation experienced by many adolescents compromise their ability to adapt and feel part of society, leading to social exclusion. The project seeks to intervene in this dimension by offering sports associates, ions and educators appropriate tools to prevent and treat youth discomfort, promote inclusion, and value individual diversity.
