Run and Recycle

Run and Recycle is a project that comes at an intense time for Europe. The invasion of Ukraine has changed the economy and the lives of every one of us, the effects of Covid-19 are still being felt, and against this backdrop the environmental crisis threatens to become a disaster - one of the reasons is "Fast Fashion". The aim of Run and Recycle is to provide athletes with knowledge in textile waste management and to encourage the recycling of clothing and trainers used during training and competitions. During the project 4 international meetings will take place. Each partner will organise 4 national eco-friendly running event and workshop to raise awareness on the topic. During the project we will create a common training manual on the topic and create guidelines to stimulate textile recycling. We will build a network of sports clubs that uphold environmental values. This network will include 50 sports organizations.
