โ–ถSummary

Cheerleading is an activity associated with sports such as American football and props cheerleaders use such as pom pons, however not many people know that cheerleading is a rather difficult discipline that has in recent years been brought to an extremely high level. As of 2017, there is an estimate of 3.85 million cheerleaders in America. The International Cheer Union (ICU) claims 116 member nations with an estimated 7.5 million cheerleaders worldwide. In 2021, International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognised the ICU. With all of that said, Cheerleading in Croatia is not nearly as popular as it could be. So with this project we plan to connect 4 Cheerleading clubs from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia in an attempt to popularise cheerleading in the region. With the help of our colleagues from Slovenia we plan to educate our coaching staff and equip them with newfound knowledge to bring cheerleading to the next level. With the other part of the project which is testing the promotion tools in order to find the best medium for attracting as many new individuals to join the sport we will help support the existing clubs, create new job opportunities, and possibly even inspire leaders to form new clubs and popularise the sport. As a final product we will create a publicly available statistical analysis of the results gathered from the testing of the media. The analysis can be used by the clubs from all over Europe (even the world), not only cheerleading clubs but all other sports clubs. To combine the specific objectives, we will organise a cheerleading competition of open character for everyone willing to participate to compete in. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
