Strong knees: A Series of Exercises for Everyday
โถSummary
Our project, "Stronger Knees, Better Life," aims to help individuals with knee pain by creating a series of exercises that they can do at home or at the gym to strengthen their knees. The project will consist of several phases: developing the exercise program, recruiting participants, and monitoring and evaluating the results. We hope to improve the quality of life for individuals with knee pain, increase participation in recreational sports, and reduce the risk of future knee injuries. The project will benefit individuals with knee pain, sports clubs, fitness centres, and local community organizations. Our expected outputs include a digital exercise program, participant training sessions, progress monitoring, and participant feedback analysis. Our project aims to address the need for easily accessible and effective exercises for individuals with knee pain by providing a comprehensive exercise program that targets the muscles around the knee joint. This will help individuals with knee pain to alleviate their pain and improve their quality of life by strengthening their knee joints and increasing their mobility. To achieve this goal, we will first gather a team of physiotherapy and sports science experts to develop the exercise program, making it easy to follow and suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. Then, we will partner with sports clubs, fitness centres, and local community organizations to recruit participants who experience knee pain. Participants will attend regular training sessions where they will learn and practice the exercises, and we will monitor and evaluate their progress over time to determine the program's effectiveness. The project will benefit two target groups: physiotherapists, personal trainers, causing use the program to support their clients with knee pain and individuals 18+ who experience knee pain and want to alleviate their symptoms. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
