The project aims to establish a small-scale partnership targeting developing health and mental health via exercise in nature and applying ecopsychology techniques to strengthen inner motivation. The project aims to organize, in parallel, four days of activities in four different countries in the week of sports. Hiking and water sports positively impact the mental health of being in nature and the sea. The activities will be appropriate for many people, including older adults. All the participating organizations have relevant experience in organizing hiking and water sports events to create a project which aims to increase participation in exercise in nature. In addition, the project aims to develop the competencies of the participating organizations through acquired knowledge of the staff in the field of ecopsychology, targeting to increase the sense of psychological well-being via exercise in nature. Participation in the project will develop the partners' abilities for cooperation and networking in promoting health, well-being, and exercise.
