Project „Capacity building of sport organizations by implementing healthy lifestyle activities among juniors and seniors“, acronym: Be involved - active is focused on the encouraging participation of small sport organization in Erasmus+ project by promoting and implementing activities which will improve healthy lifestyle among juniors and seniors. Within this project we want to help target groups and encourage them toward healthy lifestyle. According to the data, and professional expertise of partner organizations, the target group of this project will be juniors – young people between age of 10 and 24 and seniors between age 60 and 74. Project consortium decided to influence on these target groups because the data showed that they are at least active. The general objective of the project is to encourage participation of small sport organization in Erasmus+ projects by promoting and implementing activities which will improve healthy lifestyle among juniors and seniors. Identified specific objectives are: building capacity of organizations to work transnationally; promote learning mobility of sport staff; connection of sport organizations at transnational level; increase awareness of the role of sport and healthy lifestyle among juniors; increase knowledge and awareness regarding physical activity and healthy lifestyle among seniors. To achieve these objectives, within the project will be implemented activities divided into the five work packages: WP1 – Project management and implementation; WP2 – Professional development of sport staff; WP3 – Development of recreational programs for juniors; WP4 – Development of recreational programs for seniors and WP 5 – Impact of the project and dissemination. Expected project results are: improved quality of life, increased coach expertise, adopted healthy living habits and improved psychophysical condition of target groups and prevention of overweight. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
