โถSummary
The project promotes inclusion in sport. It has the ambition to involve and encourage women who find it more difficult to find opportunities and time in their daily lives to practice physical activity or sport, not least because culturally in Europe, namely in Portugal and Italy, women continue to be the caregiver of the family, because, despite all the social, economic and cultural improvements that must be recognized in recent years, we still continue to observe several countries that, despite, for the most part, seeking to reduce gender differences, still fall far short when when talking about opportunities and lifestyles (day-to-day management, access to education, leisure and health and well-being, namely self-care). The overall objective of the project is: Breaking down the barriers that women face in adopting active and healthy lifestyles, which can make them feel that being physically active is not for them. Specific objectives: 1. Alert to the benefits of adopting active and healthy lifestyles, in connection with the management of family, personal and professional life, as a way of promoting self-knowledge, self-regulation and self-care, in the pursuit of physical, mental and social well-being , for women. 2. Raise awareness of the importance of physical activity for women's health, through communication campaigns through posters, leaflets and brochures, and social media. 3. Improve the way women feel about physical activity, encouraging them to discover their own way of being active, regardless of age, background or physical ability, promoting the sharing of success stories. 4. Create training mechanisms, through the construction of physical and digital programs dedicated to women, which allows offering physical and sports activities, which counteract the phenomenon of their inactivity. Women's participation in sport and equal treatment at all levels are among the European Commission's top priorities. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
