IKIGAI55 - Capacity building on sustainable and
▶Summary
Ikigai55+ stands for “life with meaning”, our motto to express that the digital era has meaningful results for older population, helping to enrich their life with healthy habits, activity and joy. The 7 partner countries (EL, CY, HU, ES, PT, IT, BE) are in a similar situation in terms of ageing societies, and facing a tangible digital divide between generations. Therefore, our diverse partnership made of 8 organizations (universities, research institution, public autority, training developer/provider companies), including highly qualified staff members, will use a multidisciplinary approach to reach the main objectives: 1. Capacity enhancement among trainers/facilitators dealing with the older population to enhance their health preserving sports engagement and reduce the digital divide between generations 2. Improving awareness of healthy lifestyle, digital readiness and sense of inclusion among older adults We will implement activities in 5 work packages. Besides the necessary PM, QA and dissemination efforts, these activities will focus on developing training materials and implement pilots/events. The main learning outputs of the project are: - Fitness2.0 Trainer’s Guide; - Smart Motivation Handbook & Toolkit; - Smart Silver Sports Facilitation Guidelines; - Silver Smart Training Programs; - Silver Assessment Tool Bank with validated tests and questionnaires; - Pilot report, based on which a White Paper will be elaborated for the smart industry; - An accessible online learning platform. - Wellbeing Living Lab Scenarios The result of complex capacity enhancement among trainers, we believe, will impact their added value to preventive health care and an inclusive society; and the results, outputs and findings of Ikigai55 will provide to stakeholders and relevant policymakers with more information and knowledge about active & healthy ageing. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
