HEAL is a collaborative partnership that addresses the Sport Specific Priority Promoting healthy lifestyles, also contributing to the general priority “Inclusion and Diversity in all fields of education, training, youth and sport”, as its Main Objective is to ensure effective healthy lifestyle opportunities for kids and youth from disadvantaged groups through the empowerment of grassroots sport organizations and the enhancement of community networking. The project has 4 main Specific Objectives: Strengthen knowledge about healthy lifestyle for all among coaches of grassroots organizations and their capacity to reach groups with less opportunities of accessing sport, healthy nutrition and lifestyle Increase sport activities that put into practice the principles and goals of healthy lifestyle for all initiative through an inclusive approach, reaching for kids and children from disadvantaged groups Enhancing community engagement on HEPA and Healthy Lifestyle for All Initiative through a multi-professional approach that engages different key actors in the field of education, sport and nutrition to effectively increasing the possibilities of access to sport and healthy lifestyle of the target groups Promote a better cultural nutritional heritage to contrast youth obesity and support healthier sustainable diets for youth, children and families from disadvantaged groups The action will produce 11 relevant Outputs, disseminated through 7 national and transnational Events, involving 6 European countries, impacting directly on kids and youth from socially/economic disadvantaged groups, with migrants and refugees’ backgrounds, their families and communities, and coaches from grassroots sport organisations in Europe. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
