PCSOS - Protecting Children in Sport: Developing Safe
โถSummary
Sports may seem beneficial to all children at first. However, there are many dangers if adequate precautions are not taken. Indeed, studies have reported that children are abused by their parents, peers or coaches (neglect, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse). The importance of child protection programs in sports has started to increase gradually. In particular, it is accepted that decision-makers and sports organizations should have a child protection program. However, child protection programs are not implemented systematically in practice. One of the reasons for this is that sports organizations cannot find enough motivation to take action, and information resources are insufficient. PCSOS; will lead and guide the creation of a "child protection program in sports" for national sports federations and clubs. It will also provide decision support to sports managers and leaders. In doing so, it will increase digital resources and motivate organizations with label studies. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
