The project's transnational collaboration enriches its impact, fostering knowledge exchaThe SENSE project aims to integrate visually impaired individuals into physical activities through martial arts, focusing on health and social inclusion. The project addresses the significant challenges faced by over 2.2 billion individuals globally with vision impairment, emphasising the necessity for these individuals to participate in physical activities. By leveraging martial arts, SENSE seeks to improve physical coordination, balance, mental clarity, and social inclusion for visually impaired participants. The project's objectives include enhancing cross-border and sectoral capacity, sharing best practices in adaptive martial arts, and promoting active European citizenship. It involves partners from diverse European countries (Slovenia, North Macedonia, Greece and Cyprus), creating a sustainable network for disseminating outcomes and best practices.
