โ–ถSummary

ParaEMPOWER aims to increase quality in the work activities and practices of organizations and institutions involved in offering the skills for those that want to become a coach in parasport. Building capacity of organisations to work transnationally and across sectors. Similar to coaching any sport, all you need to get started is enthusiasm, drive and sometimes some patience. There are some unfavourable stereotypes and prejudice in many countries with persons with disabilities, and people with impairments frequently face societal barriers. People with disabilities are typically excluded from education, employment, and communal life as a result of the stigma attached to disabilities, depriving them of opportunities crucial to their social development, health and well-being. ParaEMPOWER project aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination through sport by offering training to coaches in parasport. Through online platform with educational videos we aim to offer the perfect combination of learning from hands-on activities, researched-based materials and indepth training for coaches. With ParaEMPOWER we want to promote capacity building in the sport sector, including sport administrators, experts, and volunteers involved in parasport entities and ensuring proper tools and instruments for the management of their organizations. The General Objective of ParaEMPOWER is to promote sports, build capacities in the sport sector, educate sport operators of parasport organizations and raise awareness of the importance of good management in the parasport sector. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
