The name of the project is RAFTING CAN BE PINK. The holder of the project is NSC LIMAN-Serbia. The partners within the project are:Beodragons-Serbia, Rafting Adventure Villeneuve-Italy and Zagreb Canoe Association-Croatia.The target group is women diagnosed with breast cancer-Pink Ladies. Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumour in women in Europe. The women diagnosed with breast cancer go through psychological, emotional, physical, and social challenges. Lymphedema is a severe complication of breast cancer surgery. Strokes in Dragonboat and rafting are the same, and as such both have a positive effect on lymphedema reduction. Since PINK LADIES have not taken up sports rafting so far, the main goal of the project is their inclusion in the aforementioned The goals are to be achieved through a defined adaptive rafting training program that comprises training of 60 women in all rafting disciplines, training of the trainers, organization of camps and competitions, selection of competition teams, organizing team participation in the European rafting Cup, representing results as changes in health status, psychophysical strength, the establishing National Sports Association Pink Ladies in rafting, promoting the project through the website, social networks, articles, TV program and promoting the value of the EU and the importance of funding through Erasmus. The goals are to be achieved through the following:a defined adaptive rafting training program in all rafting disciplines, training the trainers, camps and competitions organization, competition teams selection, team participation organization in the European Rafting Cup, representation of results as Pink Ladies' changes in health status, physical and psychological strength, the establishment of the Pink Ladies National Sports Association in rafting, promotion of the project through the website, social networks, articles, and TV program, promotion of EU values and the importance of funding through Erasmus that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
