The future job landscape remains uncertain, but the sports sector offers promising opportunities for youth employment. Recognizing this potential, Employment@Sport is a Not-for-profit European-wide event designed to enhance employability in sports through experiential learning, knowledge sharing, and networking. Integrated into the European Week of Sport, the 5-day event in Cascais brings together 10 organizations from 10 countries, each sending 12 participants (10 youngsters + 2 young adults) + 1 manager. Activities include workshops with sports institutions, networking with industry experts, and outdoor sports experiences among other activities, workshops and one forum. Local volunteers, trained to support event implementation, will also play a crucial role. The project's general objective is to Improve youth skills to face future employability in sport. To achieve this, specific objectives include Supporting youth in the process of decision-making regarding a possible professional future in the sports sector and reinforcing the role of volunteering in sport in the development of youth competences. Additionally, the project proposes the development of an e-learning course focused on sports sector employability trends, initially accessible to event participants and volunteers before being opened to the general public.
