Deep Blue Green
โถSummary
The project focused on promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being through physical activity in nature, inspired by European Commission recommendations and WHO's health goals. The project, named Deep Blue-Green, is the continuation of the "Blue Green Exercise" and additionally emphasizes the three pillars of HealthyLifestyle4All: raising awareness, facilitating access to sports and activities with a focus on inclusion, and promoting holistic approaches to food, health, well-being, and sport. The project builds upon the European Week of Sport initiative, aiming for widespread participation across age and social demographics. The project's horizontal priority is to encourage healthy lifestyles for all, using a combination of exercise, enjoyment, and well-being activities in nature, integrating psychology and ecopsychology techniques. Activities will be tailored to each country's nature, with partners focusing on water and nature-based activities. Building on the "Blue-Green Exercise" partnership, the project aims to deepen knowledge, expand educational efforts, and reach a broader audience. It seeks to foster a deeper connection to nature, enjoyment of exercise, and psychological well-being through a holistic approach. Besides, the project aims to bridge societal gaps and promote environmental sustainability through nature-based activities to increase intrinsic motivation for better health and mental health. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
