UMA - U-Media: Educational Program for Student
โถSummary
U-Media emerges as a pioneering educational program and a digital platform at the intersection of education and sports media, meticulously crafted to empower aspiring student journalists and media enthusiasts. Functioning as both an educational portal and a dynamic sports media outlet, it offers students a one-stop destination to stay abreast of current media trends in sports, receive practical advice for reporting on sporting events, access exemplary sports content across various channels, publish their own work, and seek guidance from media experts. Through the publication of their pieces, students gain exposure to real-world feedback and constructive critique, further refining their craft and honing their professional skills. U-Media comprises a series of educational activities both within universities (e.g., lectures, seminars) and online (e.g., workshops, webinars), strategically designed to prepare student reporters for their professional assignments in university sports events. Aligned with the Erasmus+ Programme, U-Media fosters transnational learning, teaching, and training activities, fostering collaboration among individuals and groups across borders. In essence, U-Media serves as a catalyst for students' growth and development in the field of sports journalism, providing them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and mentorship to excel in their future careers. Following the educational activities, the project will reach its pinnacle with a team of students actively participating in the media coverage of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
