The project "Chance-4-Dance-Sport - a platform for creating an inclusive regional dance sport development center" (Chance-4-Dance-Sport) is an interdisciplinary project initiative, that aims to ensure the progress of the dance sports athletes, coaches, and adjudicators, and to secure their professional future and interaction with the local communities in North Macedonia, Turkey and the region of Western Balkans as well. Chance-4-Dance-Sport project envisions the creation of the Regional Dance Sport Development Centre to develop preconditions for improving the performance of dance sport athletes resulting in increased quality and placement at the top of the Dance World Sports Federation ranking lists. Chance-4-Dance-Sport project and it's implementing partners highly respect the World Anti-Doping Association (WADA) regulations and the FAIR PLAY IN SPORT: RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. This will be achieved through offering training to Professional Adjudicators and Expert Coaches who will contribute to the significant progress of the sport dance athletes. The holistic approach will be used within the Chance-4-Dance-Sport project during the implementation in North Macedonia and Turkey and involve 30 coaches, 10 adjudicators, 50 dance sports athletes, and representatives of dance sports clubs from at least 3 countries from the Balkan region (Albania, Bulgaria, and Greece). The project promotes green-innovative approaches in dance sports and will contribute to increasing awareness of the involved parties towards resource efficiency and protection of the environment. The project is an important initiative and contributes to "promoting education in and through sport" as one of the sector-specific priorities of this call as well as being the first opportunity to establish this kind of interaction and collaboration between dance sports clubs and participants, from the program and partner countries, in the Balkan region. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
