Summary

Mazapie is a new game that appears to tackle the rising of physical inactivity and pollution resulting from plastics use, and promote gender equality. Mazapie is an alternative sport that, given the internal logic of the game, is described as: invasion (or shared court), dual, collective, with implement, sustainable, democratic, collaborative-cooperative and opposition. Furthermore, under the idiosyncrasy of alternative sports, it is a sport: inclusive, egalitarian, co-educational (mixed), participatory and educational. The project's GENERAL OBJECTIVE is to PROMOTE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, INCLUSIVITY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL COUNSCIENESS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF MAZAPIÉ. We settled the following specific objectives: a) Increase the physical activity of the participants b) Increase Mazapie information material c) Promote gender equality in sport participation d) Reduce environmental impact through reuse of material e) Increase digital literacy With our main target group is students at High School and University and their teachers, and students from other education levels. Through the present project, we will Develop a Toolkit, Short Duration Courses, Mazapie Events, Mazapie International Competition, among the typical project management, monitoring, evaluation, communication and dissemination. We aim to achieve 450 practitioners on national short training courses, 300 on Mazapie events and 72 in the international competition, among others that will be reached through digital means. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
