โถSummary
BEST project general objective is to promote social inclusion of young people (aged 13 โ 16 years old), using esports as a lever to reduce sport dropout and reconnect young disabled people to traditional sports. Indeed, acting as a social aggregator, esports bring young people - with apparent differences (presence or not of physical disabilities) but with the same passion for esports โ together by organizing local and transnational BEST VILLAGES which include esports gaming and sports competition, educational initiatives for young participants and in-depth insights, addressed to their families and sport operators, stimulating contacts and networks' creation between people with different capabilities. Project activities are divided in n. 5 WPs: n. 2 transversal ones (WP1-Project Management and Coordination and WP5- Project Impact and Dissemination) and n. 3 technical ones.
