Pace for Health - Interactive football programme for
βΆSummary
This collaborative project aims to address the challenges faced by internally displaced children in Ukraine through the development of a replicable interactive football training programme guide and the implementation of football sessions tailored to their needs, underscoring support for their well-being and social integration within communities. P4H aims to raise awareness about the plight of displaced children in Ukraine and advocate for their rights and needs at local, national, and international levels. The primary objective is to develop a programme guide that offers practical guidance and resources for delivering effective football sessions for displaced children in Ukraine. This guide will serve as a comprehensive resource for coaches, educators, and community leaders, providing insights into inclusive coaching practices, trauma-informed approaches, and psycho-social support strategies. P4H also entails conducting research on interactive training methods, coupled with the utilization of cost-affordable equipment, to ensure the sustainability and repeatability of the programme. Through this research, the project aims to identify innovative approaches that engage displaced children effectively in football activities while keeping the costs manageable. By leveraging accessible equipment and techniques, the project seeks to empower local communities and grassroots organizations to replicate the programme beyond the project's duration, thereby maximizing its impact and reaching a broader audience of internally displaced children in Ukraine. Central to the project's approach is the promotion of common European values, including inclusivity, diversity, and cooperation. By facilitating exchange experiences between EU partners and Ukrainian trainers, the project aims to foster mutual learning, cultural understanding, and the transfer of best practices in youth development and sports promotion. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
