Revitalisation of Linguistic Diversity and Cultural Heritage
▶Summary
The overarching objective of this Staff Exchanges programme is to establish an international, interdisciplinary network of organisations collaborating on a joint research initiative spanning linguistics, cultural studies, education, politics, and social sciences to promote the use, maintenance, teaching, and learning of local minority heritage languages (LHLs). The participants will exchange skills and knowledge to foster interdisciplinary collaborative research across countries and sectors, both within and beyond the EU. As such, the LocalLing project is built on four key pillars: use and maintenance of LHL, teaching and learning LHL, methodology for LHL, and research development and support. These pillars ensure a comprehensive approach that integrates both theoretical and applied perspectives, fostering sustainable LHL practices across different sectors.
