Innovative numerical methods for non-Newtonian flows and porous media
โถSummary
The InNoPor project focuses on developing and analyzing innovative numerical methods to solve complex problems in engineering and science involving non-Newtonian flows and porous media. The project will address realistic applications such as volcanology and chromatographic filtering. The network includes eight universities and research centers from Spain, the UK, Germany, and Chile, fostering long-term collaboration. Advanced modeling of non-Newtonian flows in porous media plays a crucial role in soil remediation, water purification, and the development of sustainable technologies for agriculture, energy, and environmental management. InNoPor aligns with several UN Sustainable Development Goals (6, 7, 9, and 13) and aims to contribute to European sustainability and technological innovation priorities. The project seeks to create impactful solutions for academia and industry by leveraging cutting-edge numerical techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration.
