Summary

MindFit VR: Immersive Sports for Mental Well-being coordinated by the Budapest Association for International Sports (BAIS) in partnership with Experiential Training Center Association (DeM) and Panathlon International, the project harnesses innovative VR technology to enhance mental health through hybrid sports. The initiative will train 12 selected coaches, athletes, and youth workers via a comprehensive 3-day transnational workshop in Istanbul, equipping them with skills to integrate mental health practices into both traditional and VR-based sports activities, the number of trained Coaches, Athletes and youth workers will be elevated to 30 through local training and toolkit piloting. These trained professionals will then implement Hybrid Resilience Days in their home countries, directly engaging over 150 young participants and providing critical feedback to refine the MindFit VR Toolkit—a digital resource featuring interactive modules, video tutorials, and continuous feedback mechanisms. Complemented by a robust dissemination strategy—including a storytelling campaign, social media outreach, VR experience booths, and a final conference in Liguria—the project aims to foster transnational collaboration, promote inclusion, and establish sustainable, eco-friendly practices in sports education. Ultimately, MindFit VR aspires to empower youth, enhance emotional resilience, and drive long-term improvements in mental well-being across Europe. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
