โ–ถSummary

Sports, particularly football, hold immense potential to bring people together across cultural and social divides. However, when unchecked, competitive environments can escalate into conflict and hostility. The "Pass a Ball, Make a Friend" project, by Mladezhko evropeisko obshtestvo in Bulgaria, aims to address the escalating conflicts and hate speech among local football teams, which have led to physical fights. With partners from European countries, the project harnesses the unifying power of sports to promote peaceful relations and reduce physical altercations on and off the field. By fostering mutual respect, understanding, and teamwork through football, the initiative aims to transform the sports environment into a space for camaraderie and inclusion. Project will address these challenges by using football as a platform to combat hate speech, reduce physical conflicts and promote social inclusion. By promoting peaceful sportsmanship, "Pass a Ball, Make a Friend" not only improves relationships within football teams but also sets an example for broader community cohesion and understanding. General aim: To overcome conflicts by organizing sports rallies to spread awareness about hate speech and physical conflicts, aiming to improve relations among participants and the community. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
