β–ΆSummary

The project addresses a critical need in today's sporting environment - supporting athletes in developing successful dual careers. In many cases, athletes face significant challenges in balancing their sporting commitments with education and career development, often lacking the necessary guidance and tools to make this transition effectively. The labor market is evolving at an unprecedented pace, driven by rapid technological advancements, digital transformation, and shifting economic demands. For athletes, this presents both a challenge and an opportunity. As they transition out of professional sports, they must navigate a highly dynamic job market that demands new skills, adaptability, and digital literacy. Without structured guidance and tailored support, many athletes struggle with career uncertainty, skill mismatches, and financial instability post-retirement. While Dual Careers have been promoted across the EU, traditional career transition approaches often fail to address the complexities of today's digital economy. AI and emerging technologies are reshaping industries and career pathways, making it essential for athletes to acquire digital competencies and strategic career planning skills to successfully integrate into new professional fields. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
