DIGITS - Digitalization in Gymnastics
โถSummary
The Digitalization in Gymnastics (DIGITS) project aims to modernize gymnastics education by creating an online database of 50-100 instructional videos covering fundamental gymnastics elements, common mistakes, and proper assistance techniques. The platform will provide free, high-quality learning resources for coaches, PE teachers, and parents, making training more accessible across Europe. Coordinated by GK Zagreb (Croatia), the project includes GK Brezovica (Croatia), Partizan Viฤ (Slovenia), Street Workout Bulgaria (Bulgaria), and EUTHRIVE (Italy), ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to content creation, technical development, and dissemination. The project will be structured into phases, beginning with filming and editing of instructional videos, followed by the development of an intuitive online platform. Content review and quality checks will ensure that all materials meet educational and technical standards. Dissemination will be carried out through national gymnastics federations, which will share the platform with local clubs, ensuring widespread adoption. The final project meeting will focus on sustainability, with partners committed to maintaining and expanding the platform beyond the projectโs duration. The initiative promotes gender equality, the inclusion of children with disabilities, and safe gymnastics training through structured, expert-reviewed digital resources. The platform will remain freely accessible, and future plans include expanding the database to other sports and integrating advanced tracking features to enhance training effectiveness. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
