The Tablet4GoalBall project aims to develop and test a touchscreen tablet to enhance sports participation and spectators for visually impaired people (VIPs). Building upon the existing applications developed by the Technical University of Crete, this initiative tablet will focus on adapting this IoT-based tactile interface specifically for Goalball athletes and spectators, a Paralympic sport designed for visually impaired athletes. The project will include collaborative design discussions, technological refinements, and pilot applications within the European Goalball Club Association and two European Goalball clubs.
