โ–ถSummary

Sports play a vital role beyond competition, fostering personal growth, resilience, and social inclusion. However, grassroots sports often lack structured psychological training, digital coaching tools, and inclusive coaching practices. Beyond the sport (BEST) addresses these gaps in baseball by equipping young athletes, coaches, and parents with essential skills to navigate challenges in both sports and life. BEST provides: Three mental resilience workshops on stress management, focus, and confidence-building for players, coaches and parents. Two digital coaching sessions to introduce video analysis and performance tracking tools for enhanced training. Two inclusion-focused training sessions to educate coaches on supporting underprivileged youth and increasing female participation. Three international winter baseball tournaments, forming the foundation for a winter baseball Interleague to sustain year-round engagement. A baseball training camp, integrating all project learnings into a real-game setting. A digital knowledge hub, offering manuals, video tutorials, and best practices for long-term impact. BEST actively includes females and underprivileged youth, promoting equal opportunities in sports. The project fosters transnational cooperation, helping clubs exchange expertise and improve youth development practices across Europe. Expected outcomes include improved mental resilience, coaching strategies, and digital literacy. The project will create a sustainable digital hub, training resources, and a winter baseball competitions, ensuring long-term benefits beyond the project duration. BEST strengthens the European baseball community by promoting lifelong learning, cross-border collaboration, and inclusive participation, making grassroots sports more accessible, innovative, and supportive for all. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
