Dare to Team Up - Human Rights Education through Sport is a project developed with the general objective being to raise sports organisations’ awareness on different human rights issues within sports by scaling up and improving the work already developed by both organisations in order to support youth and sport organisations as well as sport and youth workers in developing competences to act as a multiplier for human rights and human rights education through sports in their realities. In doing so, the project will have these specific objectives: Map other existing Human Rights Education through Sport practices in Europe; Increase the accessibility of the working practices already existing and created by partner organisation through: Translation of the educational materials into English; Lithuanian and Finnish. Further adapting the educational materials mapped and the ones created by partner organisations in order to prepare methodology for Human rights education (HRE) through sport workshops, which would be easily accessible by people with disabilities, from different socio-economic backgrounds and with different gender identities. Pilot test created educational workshops in Finland and in Lithuania; Prepare the background materials for the HRE education through sport strategy template, which would be further developed as a sustainability action of the project with the aim to be adopted/implemented by different sport organisations within Europe; Disseminate project results via ‘Dare to Team Up’ communication actions (explained in details under project deliverables). that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
