โ–ถSummary

The BIKE&MUSIC project will enable a cycling team formed by partner organizations to participate in local music performance events in the project partner countries through a bicycle tour. In this way, it will both raise awareness of eco-friendly bicycle using in the climate crisis process and encourage the promotion of local music for this purpose. The project will be implemented with the following approach: Bicycle and music have a universal appeal that transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries. By combining these two elements, we can create unique opportunities for community engagement, intercultural collaboration, and environmental awareness. The cycling route serves as an ideal platform to realize this initiative, connect diverse communities, and highlight their cultural heritage through music performances and cycling activities. The BIKE&MUSIC project events will be organized as transnational events and are expected to be completed with the participation of local cycling and music communities. Through project partnerships and the establishment of transnational networks, it aims to encourage bicycle use by integrating it with musical performances. Additionally, traditional music genres will be recorded to facilitate their transfer from one city to another. With the support of this small-scale project, it will provide a great opportunity to bring together music professionals who are also cyclists and bicycle users who are engaged in music. We consider this project grant as an important step toward establishing transnational networks. In this way, a synergy will be created between these two cultural domains during the climate crisis process, and an impact will be made in promoting bicycle transportation. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
