The European Sport-for-All Games 2026 will be a 5-day celebration of traditional sports, physical activity, and cultural diversity across from Europe. Hosted in Limerick, Ireland, this dynamic event aims to promote participation in sport and physical activity while fostering inclusion, integration, and cross-cultural exchange among European communities. Led by Limerick Sports Partnership, in collaboration with TAFISA, Limerick City & County Council, and the University of Limerick, the European Sport-for-All Games 2026 will bring together 26 delegations from across Europe, and will feature an exciting mix of demonstrations, interactive workshops, and performances, showcasing the rich heritage of traditional and indigenous sports. Beyond sport, participants will also share their cultural traditions through dance, music, and food, creating a festival atmosphere that strengthens social connections. Over 250 participants will come together in Limerick in August 2026, celebrating diversity and forging friendships through the universal language of sport. The European Sport-for-All Games 2026 will build on previous Traditional Sports & Games initiatives, while introducing innovative elements that showcase Ireland’s rich cultural diversity and leadership in digital and technological innovation. By blending heritage with modern creativity, the Games will engage a new generation, fostering a deeper appreciation for culture, sport, and active living. Set in the heart of Limerick’s historic city, this event will transform parks, streets, and public spaces into venues for sporting demonstrations and cultural performances.
