Summary

Velofulness is a new way of cycling that combines movement, mindfulness, and connection with nature. In a busy world full of stress, this project helps people relax, feel better, and enjoy outdoor activities. The project focuses on people over 40 who often experience stress, work pressure, and life changes. Cycling with mindfulness techniques helps them reduce stress, improve mental well-being, and stay active. Goals: • Improve mental health through mindful cycling. • Strengthen the connection with nature. • Encourage social interaction through group cycling events. • Support sustainable tourism and eco-friendly transport. • Make cycling accessible for people with disabilities. Main Activities: • Mindful Cycling Workshops – Teach breathing, awareness, and being present while cycling. • Kilometers Challenge – Participants cycle 10,000 km and share their experiences. • Community Cycling Events – Group rides in forests, mountains, and along rivers. • Accessible Cycling Workshops – Show adaptive bicycles and inclusive cycling methods. • Digital Awareness Campaign – Create 24 short videos promoting mindful cycling. • Final Conference & Best Practices Guide – Share knowledge on sustainable and mindful cycling. Innovation & Impact: Velofulness makes cycling more than just exercise. It encourages people to slow down, enjoy nature, and reduce stress. The project also promotes cycling for people with disabilities by introducing adaptive bikes. Expected Results: • Better mental and emotional well-being. • More awareness of sustainable tourism and outdoor activities. • Greater inclusion of people with disabilities in cycling. • Stronger international cooperation in promoting cycling for health. • More support for people going through life transitions. Velofulness creates a new cycling experience that focuses on mindfulness, well-being, and inclusion, making sure everyone can enjoy the journey. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
